Quick‑Step Ciro is a celebration of parquet — the timeless pattern that has defined elegant interiors for centuries — re‑engineered for the way people live today. It brings the beauty of herringbone into kitchens, hallways, living rooms and even bathrooms, thanks to its fully waterproof construction and exceptional durability.
Ciro is the kind of flooring that instantly elevates a room. The pattern adds movement and rhythm, the tones add warmth, and the texture adds depth. But what makes Ciro truly special is how effortlessly it fits into daily life. It’s parquet without the worry, the maintenance or the installation complexity. It’s elegance made easy.
This article written by us at Floor Land explores why Quick‑Step Ciro has become one of the most desirable vinyl parquet collections on the market, how it performs in real homes and the subtle ways it enriches everyday living.
A Modern Take on Classic Parquet
Parquet has always carried a sense of craftsmanship and heritage. Ciro captures that feeling — but with a cleaner, more contemporary edge.
Ciro’s design features include:
- Perfectly proportioned herringbone planks
- Ultra‑realistic wood textures
- Soft, matte finishes
- Natural colour variation
- A refined, modern interpretation of classic parquet
The result is a floor that feels timeless yet fresh, elegant without being old‑fashioned.

The Emotional Impact of Herringbone
Herringbone has a unique ability to change the atmosphere of a room.
It creates:
- A sense of movement and flow
- A feeling of craftsmanship
- A warm, inviting ambience
- A subtle rhythm that guides the eye
- A premium, curated aesthetic
It’s the kind of flooring that makes a room feel “finished” even before the furniture is in place.
Waterproof Parquet: A Game‑Changer
Traditional parquet is notoriously sensitive to moisture. Ciro is the opposite.
Ciro is fully waterproof, meaning:
- Safe for kitchens
- Safe for bathrooms
- Safe for hallways and utility rooms
- No swelling, warping or lifting
- No stress about spills or humidity
This opens up design possibilities that simply aren’t possible with real wood parquet.
Comfort Underfoot: Warm, Soft and Quiet
Ciro doesn’t just look luxurious, it feels luxurious.
Daily comfort benefits include:
- A warm surface underfoot
- A soft, cushioned feel
- Reduced noise
- A more comfortable walking experience
- A welcoming surface for children and pets
It’s parquet that feels as good as it looks.
Ultra‑Realistic Wood Designs
Quick‑Step’s design technology is exceptional, and Ciro showcases some of their most refined wood visuals.
Expect:
- Natural grain patterns
- Subtle knots and organic variation
- Matte finishes that feel contemporary
- Soft, warm colour palettes
- Designs that mimic premium hardwood parquet
The realism is remarkable. Ciro looks like real wood, but performs like advanced vinyl.
Perfect for Modern, Scandinavian and Contemporary Classic Interiors
Ciro’s soft tones and refined pattern make it incredibly versatile.
It works beautifully with:
- Scandinavian minimalism
- Japandi interiors
- Modern classic design
- Neutral palettes
- Natural materials like linen, oak and stone
- Soft, warm lighting
Ciro adds elegance without overpowering the space.
Ideal for Open‑Plan Living
Herringbone is especially effective in open‑plan spaces, where it creates visual flow and subtle zoning.
Benefits include:
- Defines living, dining and kitchen areas
- Adds movement to large rooms
- Makes open spaces feel more intimate
- Creates a sense of architectural detail
It’s a design tool as much as a flooring choice.
Durability That Matches Real Life
Ciro is engineered to handle the demands of busy homes.
It resists:
- Scratches
- Stains
- Water
- Temperature changes
- Heavy foot traffic
This makes it ideal for:
- Family homes
- Apartments
- Homes with pets
- High‑traffic areas
- Open‑plan spaces
It’s beauty without compromise.
Easy Installation: Parquet Made Simple
Traditional herringbone installation is complex and expensive. Ciro changes that completely.
Installation advantages:
- Click‑fit system
